Clomid works well for many women but it does come with side effects like headaches, mood swings, hot flashes, weight gain etc. My dr thinks it's just a very early pregnancy, like 3 or 4 weeks and that everything is fine. In order to get pregnant the following has to happen:. I'm also taking metformin everyday In April, I found an interventionist radiologist who operated on them. Keep me posted and I will do the same. Well, that's the update thus far.
I am so happy for you! Do you think maybe the cyst ruptured due to the pregnancy or conception? I would be so happy to hear about the timeline. Have your temps been up? I can't tell you how much hope you bring. I will continue to pray for a very healthy pregnancy and little one. Keep me posted and I will do the same. I missed some temps around O time so I don't know exactly when I ovulated. I had egg white CM around day 18, but then the cyst ruptured on CD I've just been waiting and waiting for AF and decided to test today: I go in tomorrow for the blood draw to verify, but the tests were definitely pos this am.
I really can't believe it. I've been so tired the last few days and even my hubby commented on it. I'm having a special fortune cookie made with the announcement inside and am hoping to keep my big mouth shut til Monday, which is our 7th anniversary and we're going to dinner: I was feeling so frustrated after the constant spotting and then cyst rupture I was doubting it was going to happen this summer at all. Seems weird that a cyst can rupture but pregnancy can still happen.
You should definitely feel hopeful! Cysts don't have to stand in your way- guess I'm proof. The fortune cookie is so adorable and on your anniversary, he will be over the moon. Can't wait to hear about his surprise. It will be hard for you to hold it in until then Besides being so romantic on your anniversary. I so hear you. I can't imagine what you are going through with more than one cyst. I too am trying to trust the Lord as I thaught I ovulated night before last and keep telling myself it is just the cysts getting big again.
It is now just a guessing game. I am happy that your HCG is elevated and we will pray for higher numbers when you go back. I too appreciate your prayers and support. We need to trust and remember that God knows our desires of the heart. Thank you so much. My journey started last October after a tubal reversal. Then I was told I had two blocked tubes caused by scar tissue.
In April, I found an interventionist radiologist who operated on them. I was told in recovery that one was actually open the whole time. He was able to clear the other. I finished my 3rd round of clomid about 10 days ago. It will be a year in October. Thank you for the encouragement as well. I forgot to ask you if tonight was when you were going to tell your husband or if you had already? Fertility Treatments K posts 9.
Started first round of Clomid mg CD this month. Normal menstrual cycle days long, but currently CH 33 and no AF! I have never been this late before, apart from when I was pregnant unfortunately it was a chemical pregnancy. I feel like AF is coming as I have sore boobs and constipation and have some cramps and lower back pain. But I am also shattered and am sleeping loads.
I stopped testing after that assuming that my LH wasn't strong enough and I didn't ovulate, but I guess I could have ovulated later and not known. Typically got AF an hour after posting! Wierd how ot can affect people so differently. Oh well at least I can start round two of my Clomid. Congratualtions on your BFP! This is my first time posting anywhere. I try to Google things almost everyday, and figured I would prefer anyone's ideas on my specific situation. I miscarried a year ago in May. Since we started trying again 6 months after, every month my period would be late, and make us get excited for nothing.
Now its been a year since i miscarried, Dr. Wondering if you can ovulate later than 10 days, or if the Clomid did work, it was between days after the last pill. I bought the line tests, but am waiting until Sunday. Since my cycle was so off, my period was a mess before. Wondering when you are expected to start your period after your last dose of Clomid, and if the line test could give an early positive than digital. Ok so this is my second time using clomid. My first time using the pill I became pregnant like a month and a half later.
So we're trying again now For a second child. Somehow I can't seem to remember exactly how this is supposed to work. I took clomid from day and weeks later I had my period so my question is will the clomid still work or do I have to go in for another cycle? This is the first post I have seen that is actually recent enough to comment on! This has been my experience thus far. His comment was that I either don't ovulate or I don't ovulate regularly. My first round was 50 MG from CD I did not track my temperature.
I did use an ovulation predictor kit. I tested twice daily, morning and evening. I never got a positive for ovulation. I had my progesterone levels checking by blood work done on CD They said they want to see at least a number 10 to show ovulation occurred. My number was On CD 28, AF arrived. I was disappointed but happy that the medicine was at least working.
Try again next month. August I was on the same dosage, CD I was also tested again for my progesterone levels on CD My numbers came back in August at an 8. I was very disappointed. How could my numbers be so great the first month and then so low this month?? AF came on CD I was happy that it at least seemed like my periods were regular on the clomid. I have never had a 28 day cycle two months in a row like that! So this month, September they upped my dosage to MG. Since about CD 14, which would be around my day for ovulation, I started getting cramps.
I was tested for my progesterone levels again on CD Levels came back even lower! However, here I am on CD Clomid does crazy things! I can say this. I have learned that is SO important to just relax. It is in God's hands. My body has felt like crap for 3 months now. Everyone, literally everyone has different symptoms on or off clomid, no matter what the dosage, etc. Prayers for everyone trying! We were all get our blessings one day! JessicaH85, my experience has been similar to yours, although my numbers never started out quite as high.
The first time my numbers were tested to try and figure out what was going on, I was between 11 and That was last February. This fall my husband and I decided we were ready to start trying clomid.
