This is my first cycle of Clomid. I took 50 mg day I've had a range of crappy side effects including very low blood pressure, dizziness, headaches, light sensitivity, nausea. Don't really care about the side efffects if the drug works and I've felt normal enough the last few days. I've been charting BBT and it looks like I ovulated day Waiting on progesterone results to confirm. I had a higher temp on Thursday which changed my ovulation day on fertility friend to day 20 but I discarded this as I rolled my ankle the day before and was awake all night with pain.
I've had nausea and cramping and there was watery brown blood in my underwear last night. It was only day My temp also dipped. I don't know what's happening. Is it an implantation bleed? Does Clomid make your period start way earlier? I was hopeful and now just really upset. More pink blood now. Hi PoppyMam, That's great advice, thank you. Yes my temperature kept dropping so it must be AF. Have to ring doctor tomorrow to get results of hcg test. Is it expensive to see consultants like that?
I don't think fertility is covered under my VHI. It's pretty despicable that fertility isn't recognised as a medical issue. It's treated as elective. Sorry to hear the attitude of your gp, very insensitive and actually mean. She would've been better explaining where she was coming from with her outcome and listening to what you were bringing. I didn't go back until I had letter requesting tests via doctor who knew what they were talking about.
Regarding your progesterone results, if at cd21 you were only 3dpo then 22 isn't bad as day 21 should be done 7dpo or close to it. Did your temps decline from cd24 too? Pending those results add in progesterone. That dose clomid doubled my progesterone so can have a dual effect. I'd defo consider seeing a different doctor, a specialist.
A lot of us here have been to k. If he doesn't agree with you he'll debate it out, find research etc not dismiss you. Yes the pessasries are used to help implantation in women who have poor progesterone levels, and therefore a thinner uterine lining, making implantation challenging. I know, I've been there and back, and then there again! I've been ttc for 2 years, have been diagnosed with pcos, spent a year crying each month as my cycles didn't do what I thought they should.
I'm now a patient if Napro, and through them I know understand my cycles, they've regulated my cycle, I ovulate each month now, my progesterone is managed and my well being, both mental and physical looks after itself now. I can do no more. Once I knew I was healthy, and my husband was also, I relaxed a bit. I still feel frustrated at not achieving a pregnancy, but I've been told nothing is stoping us, only time and patience will tell!
Despite my username, I have been more positive and relaxed about TTC. I told my boss I would be taking a step back from responsibilities and leaving work on time, I started acupuncture, eating better, sleeping properly which I think is a result of he acupuncture. Doctor gave me a concerned lecture about stress like I'm sabotaging my chance to get pregnant but I can't do much more to relax about it. Can you take those pessaries and get pregnant? Crazy lady your day21 results are low for ovulation.
The fact they dropped again by cd24, would suggest to me your AF is approaching. I'm sorry, implantation sounds unlikely. It's tough journey this crazy lady, but maybe consider a second opinion from another gp if possible. Your gp sounds very unsympathetic, you're not being scientific you're concerned and excited, all normal emotions. For peace of mind do a home pregnancy test in the morning. Your progesterone come cd21 is best over 60, progesterone pessasries will help rise it, it's a drug called cyclogest.
Needless to say, I freaked out and immediately called my OB's office. They sent me for the inital beta draw Within an hour my results were ready--beta quant. I'm kind of concerned, however Is it really possible to have O'ed so early on? I had negative HPTs before and after my latest period. I'm patiently waiting for the second draw tomorrow, at which I hope the OB will call and offer some deeper insight. I'm excited for sure, but after having six pregnancies only one successful.
